Assalam O Alaikum visitors . Welcome to the Web Information Page of Pakistan Australian Cultural Association Of Queensland (PACA).

PACA is a non-profit organisation which was first formed in 1983 with only 20 members in Brisbane Queensland (Australia). The association was formally incorporated in 1988 with the hard work and efforts of the management committee of that time and overwhelming support of the increasing members. Now there are 130 financial family members.

Objectives

PACA’s main objectives are to foster friendship between the members of the Association and promote Pakistani culture among the community. The younger generation is also encouraged to participate in various cultural and religious festivities throughout the year. PACA also provide help to new migrant Pakistanis while they establish themselves in Australia. Students and visitors from Pakistan are also members of PACA and they reap benefits from various community integration projects.

Selection Process

Executive Committee Members of the Association are selected through an election process which is held with Annual General Meeting. Nominations for the executive committee members can be done by filling up the nomination form and forwarding it to the association's secretary.
